ISLAMABAD: Thunderstorms and hailstorms have been predicted in different parts of the country.
The NDMA has issued an alert saying that thunderstorms and hailstorms are likely in different areas during the next 24 hours.
Strong winds and thunderstorms are expected in different districts of Punjab, and hailstorms may also occur at a few places. Strong winds and thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Gujar Khan, Jhelum, Sialkot.
Strong winds and thunderstorms are expected in Narowal, Layyah, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Faisalabad and Sahiwal.
Thunderstorms are also expected in different areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Rain is likely in Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, Nagar, Ghizer, Diamer, Astore, Ghanche, Shigar, Kharmang, Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Haveli, Poonch, Rawalakot, Kotli, Mirpur and Bhimber.
Thunderstorms are also likely in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abbottabad, DI Khan, Bannu, Malam Jabba and Dir are also expected to receive rain.
