Weather updates: Westerly winds enter Balochistan, rain likely in various areas including Karachi

KARACHI: Westerly winds have entered Balochistan, causing light rain in Quetta Valley and surrounding areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, the westerly winds are expected to continue in the upper areas until April 9.

During this time, rain is likely in most places in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while snowfall is likely in the mountains.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is likely in Karachi, Thatta, Badin and Sujawal today, while hail is likely at a few places.
