8-Year-Old Pakistani boy impresses NASA by spotting online error, Agency acknowledges and corrects it

NASA poised for historic Artemis I lunar launch from Florida

ISLAMABAD: An 8-year-old Pakistani boy surprised everyone on social media by catching a small mistake of the American space agency “NASA” with his extraordinary intelligence and meticulousness. Interestingly, NASA also took the child’s pointing out seriously and immediately corrected its mistake and thanked him.

The incident occurred when an official NASA post mistakenly wrote “Expor Jupiter” instead of “Explore Jupiter”. The letter “L” was missing in the word “Explore”, which the young child immediately noted.

The child’s father, Mussrat Ali, informed NASA about the mistake in a cheerful manner on the social media platform “X” and humorously called it an “important mission update”. NASA also responded in a friendly manner, saying, “Thank you for pointing out, we are immediately bringing back the missing letter.”

According to the boy’s father, his son is extremely interested in space, planets, rockets and space missions and dreams of becoming an astronaut in the future. He said that the response from NASA has doubled his son’s happiness and now he will proudly tell his friends and teachers at his school about this interesting incident.

The news immediately went viral on social media, where users praised the boy’s intelligence and observation. Many people commented that today this child is correcting the spelling of NASA, tomorrow the same child may be seen leading a space mission.
