LONDON: Britain’s former senior NATO commander Sir Richard Sheriff says that the world is on the brink of a third world war.
Richard Sheriff SHIRREFF expressed his views on the situation that arose after the US and Israel attacked Iran and then Iran’s retaliatory attacks on the Gulf countries.
In an interview with the British newspaper Q&A, he said that as a former soldier, he is not saying this without thinking, in fact, he fears that the world is currently witnessing a third world war.
According to the British newspaper, he said that wars start in one place, but often end in another.
