SAN DIEGO: Five people, including two suspected attackers, were killed in a shooting at a mosque in the US state of California, San Diego. According to US police, the mosque’s security guard was also among the dead.
Both suspected attackers were killed in the attack. The incident was a hate crime. According to police, both suspected attackers were minors. The police did not identify the attackers or give a reason for the shooting.
The San Diego mosque is the largest Islamic center in the area. Not only are five daily prayers offered here, but seminars and other religious events are also held, and the Al-Rashid School is also located in the same center.
The mosque’s imam, Taha Hassani, said that the children were safe from the attacker’s shooting.
