No negotiations with the US: Ali Larijani

Israeli media claims attack on Iran’s Security Chief Ali Larijani

TEHRAN: Iranian National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani has categorically rejected the possibility of any negotiations with the US.

Iranian National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani has categorically rejected all the news and claims that Iran is making new efforts to revive nuclear talks with the US.

Ali Larijani has clearly written in an important statement released on his social networking website that we will not hold any negotiations with the US.

It should be noted that the Western media has been continuously giving the impression that Iran is ready to sit at the table with Washington in the changing situation.

The American newspaper Wall Street Journal published a report claiming that Ali Larijani has tried to contact the US through mediators in Oman after Khamenei’s death.

The American newspaper reported that Iran is seeking Oman’s help to restart stalled talks on its nuclear program in order to settle matters with Washington.

However, Ali Larijani has dismissed the report as completely baseless, clarifying that there has been no change in Iran’s policy in this regard.

Iranian officials say that such claims by the American media are merely part of propaganda to create confusion about the Iranian leadership’s determination.

According to Ali Larijani, Iran is steadfast in its position and there is no question of any talks under the shadow of the current US policies.

He further clarified that all reports that claim that Iranian officials have sent a message to Washington through Omani officials or expressed a desire for talks are false.
