“Not our war” UK rules out role in US attack on Iran

Keir Starmer rejects resignation amid Labour leadership pressure

LONDON: British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer made it clear in two words that British forces would not be part of a US ground attack on Iran.

The British Prime Minister said that the Iran war is not our war, we will not get involved in it, what we have done is a defensive measure.

The British Prime Minister said that Britain will continue to take defensive measures, will continue to work to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

He said that within an hour or two of the war, we had deployed our pilots in the air, the aim of the action was to defend British citizens, interests and our allies in the region.

The British Prime Minister said that we will focus on protecting Britain’s national interests, people in the region, do what we can to address the domestic impact of the war, and continue to work with international allies.
