Saudi rejects Washington Post claim of pushing US toward war

Saudi Arabia expels Iran military attache: Here's why!

WASHINGTON: The Saudi embassy in Washington has strongly rejected a report published by the The Washington Post claiming that Saudi Arabia encouraged former U.S. President Donald Trump to take military action against Iran.

According to details, the newspaper alleged that Saudi officials had pushed the Trump administration toward a confrontational policy.

However, Saudi spokesperson Fahad Nazer dismissed the claim as baseless in a clarification posted on social media.

Nazer stated that Saudi Arabia has consistently supported dialogue and diplomatic engagement with Iran. He emphasized that at no point did the Kingdom pressure the Trump administration to adopt an aggressive stance.

The Saudi embassy reiterated that the Kingdom seeks regional stability and favors diplomatic solutions rather than escalation.
