MAKKAH: The Administration of the Two Holy Mosques has announced the appointment of Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Abdur Rahman Al-Huthaify as the speaker for the Hajj 2026 sermon.
According to the announcement, Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Abdur Rahman Al-Huthaify will deliver the Hajj sermon on 9 Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH from the Nimrah Mosque in Arafat, which is listened to with special attention by millions of Muslims around the world.
Sheikh Ali is one of the most renowned reciters and scholars in the Islamic world. He has been performing the duties of Imam in the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH) for several decades, and his passionate recitation is popular all over the world.
The sermon is considered the central part of the most important component of Hajj, the Wukuf of Arafa, in which special emphasis is placed on the unity of the Muslim community, piety, peace, and Islamic teachings.
