ISLAMABAD: Due to the rising prices of motorcycles in the country and high interest rates of banks, it has become difficult for the common citizen to buy a new bike.
In this situation, Suzuki Pakistan has introduced a zero percent markup offer for its customers. The company has introduced a zero percent markup offer on its popular motorcycle GD 110S.
According to the company, under this scheme, buyers can get the bike in installments and they will not have to pay any additional interest. This offer is beneficial for those who cannot afford to pay the full price of the bike at once, but also want to avoid additional financial burden.
The current price of the Suzuki GD 110S has been set at Rs 369,900. In this scheme, the markup has been kept completely zero percent, meaning that customers will pay the same price as on cash purchase.
Buyers will have to pay a 25 percent down payment to get the bike, which is approximately Rs 92,475. The remaining amount can be paid in easy 24-month installments. According to the company, the monthly installment starts at around Rs. 10,300, however, the final amount may vary depending on the plan chosen.
Due to inflation and rising petrol prices in Pakistan, motorcycles have now become a necessity. Government and private employees, students and businessmen all prefer motorcycles to reduce travel expenses.
When buying a bike through traditional bank financing, the buyer has to pay interest in addition to the original price, which increases the total amount considerably. However, in Suzuki’s zero markup scheme, customers will pay the same price as on cash purchase, the only difference being that the payment can be made in easy monthly installments.
