Across the country, tea leaves have become more expensive than last year.
The wave of inflation across the country has reached to tea, due to which a cup of tea and a sip of coffee have become heavy on the pocket, compared to last year, the price of tea leaf has increased by 20 to 30 percent.
According to market sources, tea leaves are being sold in the market at RS 1600 per kg, some brands of open leaves are available up to RS 1400 per kg, while local coffee leaves are selling at RS 1400 to 1600 per kg.
During one year, a cup of tea has become expensive up to 20 rupees, a cup of tea is being sold up to 70 rupees at a common Dhaba.
According to the citizens, like everything else, tea and coffee are also becoming expensive.

The shopkeepers said that due to the expensive dollar, tea leaves also became expensive, there is a possibility that tea leaves will become more expensive when the winter increases.
It is totally dependent on the dollar, the rise in the dollar also leads to a rise in the price of tea.
