ISLAMABAD: For February 2025, the petrol prices in Pakistan are most likely to change amid ongoing fluctuation in international market.
Global oil prices have reached a two-week low after US President Donald Trump asked OPEC to reduce the price of oil. This development is likely to affect the price of petroleum products in Pakistan, and accordingly, the public is expecting that the government may revise prices in the coming review.
Yet, according to media reports, the price will not be reduced though global oil prices have gone down.
Expected Petrol Prices from February 2025
The government is likely to hike the petrol price by Rs3 per litre to Rs259.13 while the diesel price would be increased by Rs6 to Rs266.95 per litre.
The final decision will be taken by the government after reviewing the summary of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and will be effective from February 2025.
