KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan’s local market recorded a rise for the second consecutive day due to the increase in global rates.
According to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, gold rice closed at Rs283,200 per tola after increasing by Rs300.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs257 and the new price was fixed at Rs242,798.
The price of the yellow metal saw a slight increase in the international market where the price per ounce increased by $3 to $2,711 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola in the local market remained at Rs3,372 and Rs2,890 per 10 grams.
A day ago, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs500 to Rs282,900. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs429 to Rs242,541.
