LAHORE: The Chairman of the LPG Distribution Association has expressed the fear that the price of LPG per kg will reach Rs 500 due to gas shortage.
According to the details, the Chairman of the LPG Distribution Association, Irfan Khokhar, strongly condemned the FIA raid on the LPG ship and termed it unjustified.
He has warned that if the government does not stop interfering, the poor will have their hearth shut down during Ramadan.
Irfan Khokhar says that importers are very concerned about the FIA’s undue interference and they have indicated not to order any more ships in protest.
He said that there is already a shortage of natural gas in the country and the arrival of LNG has also stopped since March 14. If the supply is affected, the price of LPG per kg is likely to reach Rs 500, which will be unbearable for the public.
The Chairman LPG Distribution has demanded that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif take immediate notice.
