ISLAMABAD: According to the latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, Pakistan recorded a significant inflow of $3.1 billion in workers’ remittances in August 2025, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 6.6 percent.
Overall, remittances for the first two months of FY26 reached $6.4 billion, up 7.0 percent from the $5.9 billion received during the same period last year.
Inflows for August 2025 were primarily from key countries, with Saudi Arabia leading the way with $736.7 million, followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with $642.9 million, the United Kingdom (UK) with $463.4 million, and the United States of America (USA) contributing $26.3 million.
