ISLAMABAD: Pakistanis are eagerly awaiting the next petroleum price review amid fluctuating international crude oil markets. Based on current global oil trends and market estimates, petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to remain stable or witness a minor increase in the upcoming fortnightly review. Recent volatility in Brent crude prices due to Middle East tensions has created uncertainty in global energy markets.
Industry estimates suggest that if international oil prices remain near current levels, the government may either maintain existing fuel prices or announce a slight increase of Rs2 to Rs5 per litre. However, any major surge in crude oil prices could result in a larger adjustment.
Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan
According to the latest official petroleum price notification, petrol is currently priced at Rs381.78 per litre, while high-speed diesel is available at Rs380.78 per litre. These rates became effective from May 30, 2026.

International Oil Prices
