Solar panels, batteries rates drop amid reduction in petrol price

ISLAMABAD: Solar panel prices in Pakistan remain stable, offering relief to households and businesses planning to switch to renewable energy. The latest market rates show that solar panels are currently available between Rs. 38 and Rs. 47 per watt, depending on the brand, technology, and city.

According to market dealers, Tier-1 N-type bifacial solar panels with capacities ranging from 580W to 620W are being sold for approximately Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 29,000 per panel. Prices vary based on the manufacturer, warranty, and installation location.

The continued availability of affordable solar panels has encouraged more consumers to adopt solar energy as electricity prices remain high. Dealers say the market has witnessed stable pricing in recent weeks, with slight variations across major cities due to transportation and local demand.

Industry experts advise buyers to purchase only genuine Tier-1 panels from authorized dealers and compare warranties before making a purchase.
