Punjab govt notifies summer camps in schools

LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced summer camps in private and public schools beginning June 20.

Summer camp timings will be 7 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm,” as per the announcement.

According to the letter, all students will be excused from mandatory attendance at summer camp. Admission to summer camp requires parental approval.

“The school must have a generator, cold water, and fans. Students will not be restricted from wearing uniform,’ the notification said.

“Artificial intelligence, IT, and robotics should be taught in summer camps,” according to the school’s education department.

The summer camp will run for 30 days beginning June 20.
