RAWALPINDI: The district administration has declared another public holiday when all people in Rawalpindi district must observe Friday, April 11, 2026, as a holiday.
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi issued an official notification to announce the decision that the Government of Punjab had authorized.
The order specifies that all emergency and essential service departments must continue their operations without interruption during the holiday period.
The latest announcement adds to a series of recent holiday-related disruptions in Rawalpindi and the twin cities, which have affected routine public services since administrative measures started.
Authorities stated that the holiday would extend throughout the district, while critical services would continue to operate without interruption to serve citizens.
