LAHORE: The Punjab School Education Department has made an announcement regarding the inauguration of the second phase of its teacher rationalisation policy next week.
As per the policy, teachers from schools with overstaffing will be moved to schools that have a shortage of teachers.
As per official orders, all CEOs and DAEOs have been asked to report in detail, especially after several teachers did not report for work at their new postings during the initial phase. The department has warned of disciplinary action against those who disobey transfer orders.
In the meantime, the Monitoring Director directed officials to complete the registration and verification of the student enrollments on the Central Education System (CESS) within two days and facilitate the timely implementation of the transfer process.
