ISLAMABAD: The thirteenth bilateral joint military exercise between Pakistan and the US has begun.
According to the ISPR, professional troops of the Pakistani and US armies are participating in this two-week exercise, while military officials from both countries attended the opening ceremony.
According to the ISPR, the exercise aims to exchange experiences in the field of counter-terrorism, further improve military procedures and techniques of effective CT operations.
Special attention is being paid to the coordination of combat operations, marksmanship and operational doctrines in urban areas.
The ISPR says that such joint exercises play an important role in addressing changing security challenges, improving military standards, and enhancing the capabilities of the forces in a complex counter-terrorism environment, while Inspired Gambit 2026 is a reflection of the ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and the United States for peace and stability.
