LAHORE: Rao Abdul Karim has been appointed the new IG Punjab, and the notification has also been issued.
Captain (retd) Usman Anwar has been appointed as DG FIA, as the outgoing DG FIA, Riffat Mukhtar, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Last night, the Punjab government sent 3 names to the federation for the post of IG Punjab, including Wasim Sial, Bilal Kamiana, and Rao Abdul Karim.
