ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court has reserved its verdict in the 190-million-pound case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail, here on Wednesday.

As per the details, Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the 190-million-pound case in Adiala Jail. The PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were present in the courtroom today.

The lawyers of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi completed their final arguments, while the prosecution team completed their arguments yesterday.

The court reserved its verdict after the final arguments of the parties were completed and Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana will pronounce the verdict on December 23.

The trial of the 190-million-pound reference was completed in a year and NAB recorded the statements of 35 witnesses during the trial. The PTI founder’s lawyers cross-examined the witnesses.

Important witnesses in the 190-million-pound reference, former Principal Secretary Azam Khan, former Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, and former Federal Minister Zubaida Jalal, also recorded their statements. The indictment was filed on February 27 last year in the £190 million reference.
