Punjab to hire 3.599 nurses via PPSC to tackle hospital shortage

Punjab Approves Internship Plan for Nursing Graduates

LAHORE: To meet the shortage of nurses in teaching hospitals, the Punjab Health Department has decided to recruit 3599 nurses under the Punjab Public Service Commission.

The Specialized Health Department has sent a letter to the Secretary Public Service Commission in this regard.

The Health Department has requested the PPSC to complete the recruitment process of nurses as soon as possible.

Government teaching hospitals are facing a severe shortage of nurses, as a result of which patients face difficulties in their treatment. The Health Department is working to meet the shortage of nurses.
