LAHORE: PTI and Constitution Protection Movement of Pakistan have announced to hold rallies for the protection of the constitution and the release of founder PTI Imran Khan.
Constitution Protection Movement of Pakistan chief Mahmood Achakzai, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, Asad Qaiser, Sardar Latif Khosa, Umar Dar and Huqoq Khalq Party’s Ammar Jan held a joint press conference in Lahore.
Addressing the press conference, Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that all institutions have been destroyed. It has not been heard anywhere in the world that the election symbol of any party should be taken away. The founder of PTI is the greatest leader of this country. Today, those who do not sell their loyalty are traitors here.
He said that we say that there should be an elected parliament in Pakistan, the source of power should be the parliament, and the elected parliament should make decisions. We have no enmity with anyone. We are not quarrelsome people.
Mahmood Achakzai said that Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, Imran Khan will be big men but the biggest is Pakistan. We have decided that we will go street by street. We tell the institutions that politics is not your job.
The head of the Pakistan TTP further said that an environment is being created that is minus Imran Khan. The Pakistan TTP will resist every such attempt. Who are you to minus? We will hold rallies, take out processions, we will remain peaceful and if our path is blocked, remember that the people win in the fight between the army and the people.
He said that we are warning not to block our path. We will not wage a civil war. If we are not allowed to struggle, then we will say that open the jails, your jails will be filled, you will not get a place in the jails.
PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja, while expressing his views at the press conference, said that the only axis of politics is that we stand with the founder PTI. We will remain loyal to Imran Khan until the end, because today the Pakistani nation stands with Imran Khan.
He said that if anyone thinks that the Pakistani nation can be lied to, that sanctity can be rejected in this country, or that the voice can be suppressed in this country, then he is a fool. It will not be so. History is witness that no force can stop the people’s rally and this rally of the people will free Imran Khan.
Salman Akram Raja said that today there is nothing more important for us than the release of Imran Khan and his health. Today we say to every worker and every farmer of Pakistan that your future, your real freedom, is linked to the freedom of Imran Khan. We have to fight together, we have to fight for your freedom. We have to fight for your livelihood.
He added that today we have had a fruitful discussion, there will be more discussions. Imran Khan has placed his trust and confidence in Mahmood Khan Achakzai. The decision to make Mahmood Khan Achakzai the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly is Imran Khan’s.
Salman Akram Raja said that Imran Khan has ordered me to seek advice and guidance from Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and we will move forward with their guidance and advice. We are a party that is aware of history, understands history and knows where Pakistan stands today. We know what is the condition of Pakistan’s economy today.
The Secretary General PTI said that today the farmer is crying, the laborer is unemployed and unemployment is at the highest level in the history of Pakistan. Today there is an insensitive government that is enjoying luxury and buying planes.
It is collecting praise from the world, but the laborer’s stove is not burning. The laborer all over Pakistan demands his fair wage but he does not get it. The youth does not get employment, the child of the laborer does not get education and there are no health facilities.
He said that we have to fight this war under the guidance of Imran Khan and we are there to fight this war. We will never back down from this field. We are steadfast.
On this occasion, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Tehreek-e-Tahafuz Ain Pakistan announced to hold rallies to protect the constitution and release the founder of PTI.
Former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, while speaking at a press conference, said that farmers are being exploited in Punjab. We are with the farmers, we will go to the farmers’ organizations, we will engage them with us.
We will launch a movement together with the farmers. This party belongs to Imran Khan. If anyone thinks that he can replace the founder, he is in a misunderstanding. Our struggle will be peaceful. It is our constitutional right to struggle.
