LAHORE: Punjab Traffic Police has accelerated the process of making driving licenses across the province.
The police have appealed to all citizens who do not have a license to get their driving license quickly. The government wants to make travel on the roads safe, so the process of registering licenses is going on rapidly.
DIG Traffic Punjab Waqas Nazir has provided important information to the citizens in this regard. For the convenience of the public, all licensing centers and police service centers of Punjab are open on a daily basis. All necessary facilities are being provided to the people coming to these centers to get licenses so that they do not have to wait long.
According to DIG Traffic, “juvenile driving permits” are being issued to the youths who are between the ages of 16 and 18. The advantage of this permit is that the youth can get permission to drive a car or bike within the ambit of the law and can avoid any legal trouble.
Along with this, the traffic police has also given a stern warning to the lawbreakers. Waqas Nazir says that strict legal action is being taken against those who drive vehicles or motorcycles without a license in the entire Punjab. Now, if any person is caught driving on the road without a license, no concession will be made and a heavy fine will be imposed.
The traffic police chief explained to the citizens that to avoid accidents on the roads, it is necessary for every driver to have a license. He urged the people to become responsible citizens and respect the law. When everyone drives with a license, the traffic system will improve and precious lives will be safe on the roads.
