Abbas Araqchi Ceasefire Statement: Iran Seeks War End That Prevents Future Attacks

Abbas Araqchi ceasefire statement

The Abbas Araqchi ceasefire statement has drawn global attention as Iran outlined its position on ending the ongoing conflict. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said the war should conclude in a way that prevents any future attacks on the country. His remarks came during a recent public statement amid rising regional tensions.

Araqchi clarified that when Iran says it does not want a ceasefire, it does not mean the country seeks prolonged war. He explained that Iran’s position is focused on achieving a decisive end to hostilities that guarantees long-term security.

He stressed that any conclusion to the conflict must ensure that no enemy can target Iran again. According to him, a temporary or weak ceasefire would not serve Iran’s interests.

Meanwhile, an Israeli official claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu contacted former US President Donald Trump on Sunday. The report stated that Netanyahu urged against moving forward with a ceasefire.

The official added that Netanyahu expressed concerns over any such step. In response, Trump reportedly said that a ceasefire could only happen if Iran accepts US conditions.

According to the same source, Trump insisted that Iran must hand over its enriched uranium and provide guarantees that it will not resume enrichment in the future.

The Abbas Araqchi ceasefire statement reflects Iran’s demand for a firm and lasting outcome, while opposing sides continue to debate the terms of any potential ceasefire agreement.
