Iran missile attacks on Israel continued on Tuesday, increasing tensions in the Middle East and raising concerns in global markets.
According to Israeli officials, Iran launched several waves of missiles targeting different areas. Air raid sirens were heard in cities like Tel Aviv, while explosions from interceptions were reported. Some homes in northern Israel were damaged by falling debris, but no deaths were confirmed.
The situation became more complex after Donald Trump claimed that the United States had “productive talks” with Iran. He said these discussions could help end hostilities and announced a delay in a possible strike on Iran’s energy infrastructure.
However, Iran strongly denied these claims. Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated that no negotiations had taken place and described the reports as fake news aimed at influencing financial and oil markets.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also rejected the US claims. The group said it had launched new attacks and called the US statements “psychological operations” with no impact on Iran’s strategy.
The conflicting statements from Washington and Tehran created uncertainty in global markets. Oil prices, which had dropped earlier, started rising again. Brent crude increased above $100 per barrel, reflecting fears of supply disruption.
A key concern remains the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for global oil shipments. Iran’s actions around this area have already affected energy supplies and increased market volatility.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel will continue its military operations in Iran and Lebanon. He also spoke with Trump, who suggested that a possible agreement could still be reached to achieve war objectives.
Diplomatic sources indicate that indirect communication may be ongoing through countries like Egypt, Pakistan, and Gulf states. There are also reports that potential talks could take place in Islamabad in the coming days, although no official confirmation has been given.
The ongoing conflict, which began earlier this year, has already caused heavy casualties and raised serious concerns about regional and global security. The situation remains fragile, with both military action and diplomatic efforts continuing side by side.
