Umrah Flight Fares Surge in Pakistan as Ramadan Travel Demand Increases

Umrah flight fares surge in Pakistan

Umrah flight fares surge in Pakistan as airlines increase ticket prices due to rising demand during the holy month of Ramadan. Many pilgrims are planning to travel to Saudi Arabia, which has pushed fares much higher than normal.

Travel agents in Karachi said both domestic and international airlines have raised their fares. The increase started before Ramadan and is expected to continue in the coming weeks.

Economy class fares are now between Rs180,000 and Rs200,000. Earlier, these tickets were available for around Rs130,000 to Rs140,000. This shows a sharp increase of more than 40 percent.

Business class fares have increased even more. Reports show that business class tickets are now reaching up to Rs500,000. This is making Umrah travel difficult for many people.

Travel experts say Umrah flight fares surge in Pakistan every year during Ramadan. This happens because more people prefer to perform Umrah in this holy month, especially in the first ten days.

They also said flights are almost fully booked. Only a few seats are left, and airlines are selling them at higher prices due to strong demand.

Experts expect Umrah flight fares surge in Pakistan to continue in the second and third Ashra of Ramadan. Pilgrims are advised to plan early to avoid expensive last-minute bookings.
