PESHAWAR: Security forces killed 15 terrorists of the Indian-backed Fitna-ul-Khawarij during intelligence-based operations in two different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the ISPR, these operations were carried out on November 15 and 16 in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan.
According to the spokesperson, the security forces conducted an operation in the Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan on information about the presence of terrorists, in which 10 terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire.
The dead included the top commander of the terrorist group, Alam Mehsud.
The ISPR said that the second operation was carried out in the Datakhel area of North Waziristan, where 5 more terrorists were killed.
According to the statement, clearance and sanitization operations are underway in the area so that no Indian-backed terrorist gets a chance to escape.
The spokesperson said that under the vision of ‘Commitment to Stability’, the counter-terrorism campaign of security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full speed so that foreign-backed terrorism can be completely eradicated.
