SURAB: In a heinous attack by Fitna-al-Hindustan in Surab on Friday, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Revenue Hidayat Buledi lost his life and embraced martyrdom, according to media reports.
In the attack, the militants attacked the home of ADC, where his family was residing, including women and children.
Commercial banks were looted and several government vehicles and offices were set on fire by the attackers in Surab city.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind condemned the attack as a direct challenge to the writ of the state and a “cowardly attempt to destabilise the region.”
“The martyrdom of our brave officer is a symbol of unmatched courage. He sacrificed his life to protect the nation and has set a new example of valour,” Mr. Rind said.
To capture the assailants, security personnel comprising Levies, police, and the Frontier Corps (FC) conducted a search and clearance operation. Deputy Commissioner Surab acknowledged the incident and honored LUMS graduate ADC Buledi for his heroic defense during the assault.
The barbaric terrorist attack on innocent people, government officials, and a bank in Surab was vehemently denounced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He sent his condolences to the family of the deceased and conveyed his profound sadness over the death of ADC Buledi, who gave his life protecting the town from terrorists.
In addition to expressing his strong condemnation of the terrorist incident in Surab, President Asif Ali Zardari honored the deceased ADC Hidayatullah Buledi and prayed for the family’s strength.
Terrorists supported by India want to cause instability in Pakistan, but their evil plans will fail. The president emphasized that operations against organizations such as Fitnat al-Hindustan would continue until peace is restored and reiterated that security forces are unified in their efforts to eradicate terrorism, he added.
