ISLAMABAD (Rizwan Abbasi): Getting a visa application processed from BLS visa centers has become a difficult task for citizens as hundreds have been forced to spend nights under the open sky to get their work done.
A scandal has been exposed at BLS visa application centers where officials are allegedly collaborating with the agents’ mafia to secure the commission from the citizens applying for visa processing.
According to the details, Pakistanis bidding for Spian are falling victim to the internal network of BLS and the agent mafia, Daily Ausaf has obtained information from the agent mafia by reaching them as a customer.
Agents have claimed that they deal directly with visa center officials and receive a commission. For a family settlement visa citizens pay Rs 50,000 per passport in addition to the visa fee which goes into the pockets of the agent mafia and BLS visa center employees.
It was learned that citizens seeking a visa for Spain having every required document have to wait for several days due to the delaying tactics of BLS visa centers.
Citizens are forced to wait in the open air outside the BLS visa center in Islamabad. People who come from all over the country have to spend many days waiting on the streets due to a lack of appointments.
Daily Ausaf has requested an explanation on the matter from the BLS visa center but concerned officials did not responded.
Victims from all over the country have requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Pakistanis, including the Embassy of Spain to take legal action against the accusers.
