MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chief Secretary Dawood Muhammad Bareach has been removed from his post.
The Establishment Division has issued a notification regarding the appointment of Flt. Lt. (R) Khushal Khan, BS-21 officer, as the Chief Secretary AJK with immediate effect.
“Flt. Lt. (Retd.) Khushal Khan, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir for further posting as Chief Secretary, Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, in terms of Clause (viii) of Karachi Agreement, 1949, with immediate effect and until further orders,” the notification read.
As per the notification, before his appointment as AJK chief secretary, Khushal Khan was working as an Additional Secretary in the Power Division.
