MUZAFFARABAD: Private schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will remain closed tomorrow (Thursday) due to the strike call by the Joint Public Action Committee.
According to details, the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee has announced an indefinite strike tomorrow (December 5).
The All-Private Schools Association and the All-Azad Kashmir Traders Association have announced their support for the strike and will keep schools and businesses closed tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education in Azad Jammu and Kashmir has issued instructions to keep all government schools open tomorrow.
In May, the Joint Public Action Committee announced the end of the ongoing protest against rising inflation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) a day after the government accepted their demands.
It is worth mentioning here that violent clashes broke out between police and rights movement activists in Azad Jammu and Kashmir amid wheel jams and shutter down strikes across the region, in which at least three people were killed and several injured.
At least one person was killed and two injured in clashes between protesters and law enforcement agencies in Muzaffarabad on Monday.
