Club Eighteen hosts Diplomatic Ryder Cup 2026 in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Club Eighteen, in partnership with Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad, successfully hosted the Diplomatic Ryder Cup 2026 at the Eighteen Golf Course.

The event saw diplomatic missions from the United States and Europe participate with great enthusiasm in an 18-hole golf competition that showcased the spirit of sportsmanship, friendship, and international relations.

The tournament was attended by several distinguished heads of mission, including Acting US Ambassador Natalie Baker, Polish Ambassador Maciej Pisarski, and Belgian Ambassador Idesbald Van Der Gracht, along with other diplomats and members of the international community.

The competition was fierce throughout the day, with both teams displaying exceptional skill and determination. After a thrilling and close contest, the European team won the Diplomatic Ryder Cup 2026 by a slim margin of three points.

The event was also fueled by special competitions on the golf course, with Brandon Callender winning the men’s longest drive, Mikaela Khrutova winning the women’s longest drive, and Jill Haas taking home the men’s closest to the pin award.

The event concluded with a brunch that provided an opportunity for diplomats, golfers and guests to network. Participants praised The Club at Eighteen’s world-class golf facilities and excellent facilities, making the Diplomatic Ryder Cup 2026 a memorable success.
