LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz revealed further details of the innovative “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” scheme, a flagship housing initiative designed to empower individuals to own homes without hidden interest payments.
The program will be rolled out in three phases, offering a comprehensive approach to housing needs.

In support, Dr. Amjad Saqib, founder and chairman of the Akhuwat Foundation, met with CM Maryam Nawaz to praise her efforts in launching the housing program.
The Chief Minister acknowledged Akhuwat’s contributions to affordable housing, led by Dr. Saqib, and announced that the low-cost housing initiative is already underway in Punjab.
Moreover, CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the program will undergo progressive expansion each year, to support an increasing number of low-income individuals in realizing their dreams of homeownership.
This initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to addressing housing needs and promoting affordable housing options for all.
