CM Punjab takes notice of the forced closure of shops

Lahore: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has taken notice of the forced closure of markets and shops due to smog in some areas.

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi said that no order has been issued to close the markets and shops on November 10, if the police forcibly closes the markets or shops, strict action will be taken.

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab also said that due to smog it has been decided to keep shops and markets closed only on Saturdays.

He said that smog has reduced significantly due to the rain and the Punjab government’s measures. He thanked the business community for their cooperation.

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab further said that dealing with smog is a national responsibility and we all have to make Lahore and other cities livable.
