RAIWIND: In a shocking twist, a woman has been arrested in Raiwind for the unlawful killing of his son identified as Azlan, a child who had been missing for a day only.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chaudhry Usman states that the mother, along with her friend and the maid, had enacted a dramatic kidnapping in order to cover each other’s participation in the crime.
The mother, with accused accomplice servants, reportedly killed Azlan and burned him before dumping the body in Kot Radha Kishan. The victim’s body was taken to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem, shedding light on this merciless act of crime.
This is not, however, an isolated incident; similar tragedies have been recurring. In December 2024, in Nawabshah, a woman murdered her two children by cutting their throats.
The mother, Komal Sheikh by name, had admitted to killing them but did not name any motive for the murder. The police have recovered the murder weapon and are further investigating.
Foremost acts of similar intensity occurred in August when a woman in Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killed herself after murdering her two minor children–Zain and Rabia–over a domestic dispute.
