SARGODHA: A local holiday has been declared in Sargodha city for all the educational institutes on Saturday, 28th Safar (August 23) in connection with the observance of Shahadat Hazrat Imam Hassan (RA).
Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Wasim has issued a notification in this regard.
According to a spokesperson for the DC office stated that the vacation will only apply to Sargodha city’s schools and institutions.
The decision was made in order to protect public safety and uphold law and order throughout the religious procession.
