BAHAWALPUR: In the bequest of planting 50,000 trees in this Monsoon, DHA Bahawalpur formally inaugurated its monsoon plantation drive 2024.
Participants from different walks of life including DHAB residents, realtors, business partners, private and public colleges, civil society, civil administration, and individuals from the corporate sector totaling more than 1500 people joined the plantation walk and participated in the plantation activity.
The drive includes a diverse composition of plants majorly including Shady Trees, Date Palms, Mix Fruit Orchards & Citrus Orchards.
Project Secretary DHA Bahawalpur Brig Ashar Mehboob (Retd) inaugurated the ceremony and thanked the participants for their active participation in an endeavor to restore and maintain environmental sustainability.
Such synergy and collaborative efforts will contribute to ensuring an eco-friendly living and sustainable environment, Brig Ashar reinforced.
