ISLAMABAD: According to a press release issued by the Cabinet Division on Monday, the federal government has officially declared a four-day public holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
As per the notification, June 6, 7, 8 and 9 (Friday to Monday) will be public holidays across the country. The announcement applies to both government and private offices that follow five-day and six-day work weeks.
The notification follows the Cabinet Division’s earlier circular regarding the schedule of public and optional holidays for 2025.
The government has advised the concerned departments and institutions to widely disseminate the notification through major print and electronic media outlets.
