LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has sealed the famous Coffee shop ”Double Shot” in Lahore.
The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has ordered the sealing of seven branches of Double Shot in Lahore for allegedly bypassing the Electronic Invoice Monitoring System (EIMS) and under-declaring sales.
According to an official order issued by PRA Commissioner Enforcement Muhammad Asif on June 15, 2026, enforcement teams found that invoices were being issued outside the EIMS framework despite the system being installed. The authority stated that such practices deprive the government of legitimate tax revenue and constitute willful non-compliance.
The branches named in the order include Gulberg, Falcon Complex Cantt, C Block Model Town, DHA Phase-6, Lalak Jan Chowk DHA Phase-2, Pine Avenue, and Dolmen Mall.
The PRA further alleged that actual sales at the business premises did not match the sales declared in tax returns, indicating suppression of taxable turnover and under-reporting of sales.
Acting under Section 59A of the Punjab Sales Tax on Services Act, 2012, the authority has directed the immediate sealing of the seven branches until full compliance is achieved or for a maximum period of one month, whichever comes first.
