Federal government’s big decision, 50 percent reduction in ministers’ petrol quota

Petrol, diesel hit Rs500 per litre in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has said that under the government’s austerity campaign, the petrol quota of federal ministers has been significantly reduced. And it has been reduced from 400 liters to 200 liters per month.

Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said in a statement that the government is taking various steps to reduce expenditure and promote financial discipline. As a result of the austerity campaign, federal ministers are now left with little room for concessions.

He said that if anyone has an objection to the 200-liter petrol quota, then discussions can be held in this regard. However, the government has already significantly reduced the facilities of ministers.

Azam Nazir Tarar said that the implementation of the austerity policy will continue to reduce government expenditure and better use of resources so that the burden on the national exchequer can be reduced.
