Foreign minister Ishaq Dar set for official visit to KSA

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will leave for Turkiye ahead of the Pak-Afghan talks to be held on November 6.

According to sources, Ishaq Dar will arrive in Ankara early next week at the invitation of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

During his stay in Turkey, he will represent Pakistan in an important meeting of 8 foreign ministers on the situation in Gaza.

This meeting is being held as a follow-up to the diplomatic contacts held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to sources, Islamabad’s diplomatic activities have accelerated ahead of the Pak-Afghan dialogue and Pakistan is playing an active diplomatic role in the region.
