KARACHI: In tragic news, Ghulam Murtaza Shah, father of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza, has passed away.
Father of PPP leader Ghulam Murtaza Shah had been ill for some time. The deceased was 87 years old. He is survived by 4 daughters and a son.
The body of the deceased will be transferred from Lahore to Chiniot, where the funeral prayers will be offered at Imambargah Jagir Ali Akbar after Maghrib prayers.
The leadership of the PPP and other political leaders expressed their condolences to Hassan Murtaza and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and patience for the bereaved family.
