Government imposes Section 144 in Muzaffarabad

MUZAFFARABAD: In view of the tense situation and the law and order situation in Muzaffarabad, the district administration has imposed Section 144.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, Section 144 has been imposed throughout the city. In Muzaffarabad city, gathering of more than 4 people at one place will be banned, and action will be taken against violators.

It should be noted that in view of the tense situation and the law and order situation in Azad Kashmir, and especially in Muzaffarabad, the district administration imposes Section 144 from time to time.

In the latest situation, after the Joint Public Action Committee was banned, security is on high alert in various parts of Azad Kashmir, including Muzaffarabad.

Internet service is still suspended throughout Azad Kashmir due to the Joint Public Action Committee’s June 9 protest call. Citizens are facing severe difficulties due to the suspension of internet service.
