Govt cannot complete its term, came into power to settle cases: Rashid

ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister Sheikh Rashid said on Monday that the incumbent government could not complete the term even if the coalition asserts.

He underscored that the ruling coalition came into power to settle their cases in NAB, FIA, and ANF and claimed that the coalition parties may face jail very soon.

Sheikh Rashid opined that the government has been doing its utmost to involve establishment in the politics and asserted that Pakistan Army would never let the country suffer economically.

While hinting at the current political situation, he said that some crucial decisions are likely to surface before May 31.

Whereas, touching on the issue of the long march in Islamabad, the former interior minister said that no one could stop Imran Khan’s thunder and the political parties have fallen into the pit they dug for the former prime minister.

He also said that the government has a one-vote majority in the center and Punjab, while no-confidence is brewing in Balochistan.
