ISLAMABAD: In view of three holidays across the country, the government has issued orders for timely payment of salaries.
Orders have been issued to pay salaries to government employees in Punjab on April 30. According to the notification, salaries should be paid on April 30 in view of May 1st Labor Day. Saturday and Sunday, May 3rd are also holidays. The Punjab Finance Department has issued orders for timely payment of salaries.
It should be noted that the Government of Pakistan has issued an official notification of government, bank and optional holidays for the year 2026. Which includes Labor Day, which falls on Friday, May 1st.
