Hajj Pilgrims Alert: 2 days left for Saudi visa biometrics

Pakistan to provide free SIM cards in Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026 pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued important information for Hajj 2026 pilgrims.

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, it is mandatory to get a Saudi visa biometric by February 8 to obtain a Hajj visa.

The spokesperson said that Hajj pilgrims can also complete the biometric process from home through the Saudi Visa Bio app for their convenience.

To provide further convenience, Saudi Tashir Centers will be open today and tomorrow from 9 am to 5 pm.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs clarified that a Hajj visa will not be issued without a Saudi visa biometric, so pilgrims should complete the biometric process immediately to avoid any problems and must keep the confirmation email.

The spokesperson has appealed to Hajj pilgrims not to wait for the last minute so that there is no disruption in Hajj arrangements.

Earlier, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that the issuance of visas for Hajj 2026 will begin on February 8.

According to the ministry, the process of issuing visas has started earlier than usual to complete Hajj arrangements on time and provide better facilities to pilgrims.

The ministry said that 100 percent of the contracts for all services provided to pilgrims coming from abroad have been completed, while all contracts related to accommodation in Mecca have been concluded through the Nasik platform.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, 750,000 pilgrims have been registered so far, while 30,000 pilgrims have booked Hajj packages directly from their respective countries.

The ministry says that issuing visas at this early stage reflects planning for the Hajj, which will help streamline arrangements and improve the efficiency of services provided to millions of pilgrims from around the world.
