ISLAMABAD: Imam Masjid Al-Nabawi Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair arrived in Pakistan today for a seven-day official visit aiming to strengthen the ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
On his arrival at the Islamabad International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Secretary of Religious Affairs Zulfiqar Haider, and other officials, state-run APP reported.
During his visit, the prayer leader of Masjid Al-Nabawi in Madinah would lead the Friday prayer at Faisal Mosque, the religious affairs ministry announced in a statement.

Imam Mohammad Al-Budair is also scheduled to meet top government officials including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and other prominent leaders. Additionally, the Imam would hold meetings with Pakistani religious scholars.
